Welcome from the

Principal

A warm welcome to Templepatrick Primary School and Nursery Unit.

We hope that our website not only gives you the information that you need, but also a flavour of the caring, friendly atmosphere that I experience every day.

It is a privilege to see our pupils thrive and grow into healthy, well mannered and well educated young people.

We value every child and aim to give every pupil the opportunity to experience success in all areas of development.

Our school ethos is built on Christian values, a school founded to provide high quality education for children of all faiths and none.

We set high expectations for all of our pupils, always wanting each pupil to reach their potential.

But our expectations can only be fulfilled if we work effectively in partnership, with you, the parents.

Together we can make Primary School a rewarding experience for your child and to be some of the happiest times in your child’s life.

Our committed team of teachers and assistants provide a safe and friendly environment in which our children are able to grow in confidence, to learn and to develop their talents and abilities in preparation for tomorrow’s world and their future in it.

We welcome you to join us on our journey to becoming an Outstanding school right at the heart of its community.

Our grand total for Children in Need this year is a fabulous £701.02. Thank you all so much for your continuing generosity. Hopefully we'll get a wee mention on the tellybox tonight. We'll get a few more photos up soon, but I'm away to be part of the #GAWA tonight so I am! #pudseybear #childreninneed2024

ODD SOCKS DAY 2024 at TPS. Odd Socks Day is part of Anti-Bullying Week. To celebrate that we are all unique, lots of our pupils and staff wore odd socks to school on Tuesday 12th November. WHY IS ODD SOCKS DAY IMPORTANT? The day sends an important message that we should all be allowed to be ourselves free from bullying and helps us celebrate Anti-Bullying Week in a fun and positive way. Quite right too, so it is!

Hopefully you've all received an entry sheet for our Children in Need name the staff competition. If not, here it is, so it is. Feel free to print out and enter as many times as you like! £1 (at least!) in cold hard cash per entry! Winners drawn in assembly on Friday 15th. There's a prize for the first randomly drawn correct entry and then another prize for the next randomly drawn entry, whether it's correct or not! Every penny will go to Children in Need. So it will. Remember to spot-ify your uniform on Friday 15th as well; you can donate for that as well, but that's on School Money. Both amounts will be added together and we'll let you know how much has been raised. Have a lovely weekend! (I'd been wondering Erik ten Hag had been up to...)
